Father/Daughter Dance Song

I can't decide which song to use for my father/daughter dance. Dad likes My Little Girl by Tim McGraw or I Loved Her First by Heartland. Both of which are good, but done a lot. I like Tough Little Boys by Gary Allen. I hate making decisions!!! GRRR! So, do I go with Dad's pick or mine?!?!?!

I would go with dads pick. My dad was given 20 songs to pick from (per his request) and he selected both. The song choice the day of will be a surprise.

I'd do his choice. Ask the DJ to play the Gary Allen song later, then find your dad and ask him for a dance. (I love Gary Allen!)

I actually picked the Tim McGraw song My Little Girl, to use for my father daughter dance and now I am realizing how popular it is. I kinda like to be different so if another song comes along i am still open to change. I think you should pick which ever song fits your relationship with your dad the best. I think its cool your dad is involved in picking the song. Thats sweet!!

I asked my dad to choose the song and when he told me his choice I just about DIED. I asked him a few times if he'd rather use this song or that and he finally said that he choose the song because of x,y and z and that he didn't understand why I didn't want to use it as well. Talk about heartbreak...I felt awful and although I still didn't care for the song I knew that he'd chosen it and it was the one that he really connected with. During the song it was still sappy and cheese-a-rific, but he was loving it and that was all that mattered in the end. I say go with what HE wants...it'll mean more to him than you know! :)
