Officer's Club in Newport

Are there any brides out there who are having or have had their reception at the Officer's Club in Newport?  I do have someone to sponser my fiance and I.  We have an appointment to look at it next week but I'm anxious to see pictures!  I really couldn't find anything online!

    Unfortunately, we couldn't have ours there, but they have since renovated it and it is gorgeous! If you like the regal look, you will love it! They did a fantastic job and that view of the bay is unbelievable! :)

    I went to a baby shower there this past winter and I have a wedding to go to there in September- it was a beautiful venue! I will let you know after I attend the wedding in early September how everything was :)

    My brother's was there 2 years ago (If you click on my blog and look for the August 2007 posts you'll see it) There's not a ton of detail pictures because I wasn't as into weddings back then/didn't understand how much went into it! But there are a few :)

    Just wondering what it means "to be sponsored" for the Officer's Club. Are there limitations on who can get married there? Thanks! :)
