In following with the theme of discussing somewhat unnecessary wedding details... I had my hair trial last week, so I can finally start looking for a hair piece to wear since I am not doing a veil and finally know what my hair will look like. I thought I would have a hard time finding something, but now I am having more of a hard time deciding what I like best. Wedding colors are burgundy/light green with some fall accents, outdoor ceremony, October. Hair will be in a low, textured, bun-style updo. So...vote away! Dukey, I'm trying! This computer is a piece of junk. I can't even get the bold/ital buttons to show up and I just updated explorer. Ugh. I would PIP but the pics are a little large.

I think 1 would contrast against your hair beautifully.Of the flowers, 2 is best.

I like number 4 best for the shape of it. But what I don't like is how the texture of the wood of the petal edges makes it look like the flowers are dying or brown.

I think the first one goes best with your dress. Your dress has the sparklys on it so I don't think the floral/pearl ones really go with it.

For those of you that can't get the clicky posts to work, it's just because she has breaks in the ulr. Click on it and look up at the address in your browser, delete where it has the <br> and then it will work.

Amoro/Dani, any thoughts on what would work with the dress? I like 2-4 because they're a little more rustic, which fits with the wedding. But yeah, my dress is a little more on the fancy side than a lot of stuff in the wedding itself. I might have to buy one of the floral ones anyway, just for funsies. I take back my answer bc I hadnt looked at your dress before...if you want to do a flower I think you need more glam than rustic, just bc your dress is so sparkly (and very pretty, btw!)

I tend to agree that the flower needs to be a bit more elegant looking, though I do like #4. I think it would look better on a lace gown, or something not silk/satin.

Mocha - my dress is actually taffeta! But I see what you mean. I was originally looking at more jewelery-style hair pieces, but I love those rustic ones so much. Perhaps I can finagle a rustic one for the rehearsal dinner or just buy it and wear it to work for the hell of it.

Ooh, Amoro, that is cute. A lot of the rhinestone ones I looked at seemed so "heavy" but this looks very light and airy and not overly sparkly. Nice job matching the detail in my dress
