Introducing Myself and a question.

Hi!  I am new to the board. I got engaged in Feb and am planning a May 2013 wedding in Dayton. 

I am currently looking for a reception venue for ~120 guests.  I like the look of the Dayton Art Institute but it is a bit pricey.  Are there any other places you can recommend that have a separate cocktail and reception area and have the same vibe as the Art Institute?  My ceremony is in Centerville so I would like stay within ~15 minutes of there.  Also, I would like to stay under $2k for the room rental.

    What about some of the Dayton History properties- Carillon Park, Patterson Homestead, Memorial Hall- I think rental for these places is $2k or less. Other places that come to mind are the Engineers Club, Packard Museum, Victoria Theater.

    The dayton wedding connection is a really nice place. Has one chapel that can seat that many. Their facility is beautiful. Check out the pictures on their website.
