Re: My luggage was stolen from LAS airport!

  • yay!! that's such a great ending to a possibly crappy situation - good thing you have good taste in suits prompting him to want a better price! lol
Ruth at the sandwich shop was very nice and she was very appreciative of your feedback on them - good karma all around!

  • Yeah fortunatley for me I'm kind of a small dude lol, 5'5", so the suits were immediately obvious, but from Hugo Boss so the POS thought he 'deserved' more for them.  Greed = handcuffs thankfully.

Married in Vegas - June 2011

  • My husband returned home from a business trip late Friday night (4/20/12).  He inadvertantly left something on the plane and went into the airline office to report it as the bags were coming out on the carsousel.  When he got back to the carousel, one of his bags was missing.  At first the airlines thought the bag might have gotten misplaced during his plane change.  As several days have gone by with no luck finding the bag, my husband went back to inquire in person at the airline office in baggage claim today.  The airlines employee told him that is a common practice for bags to be stolen right off the carousel in the Las Vegas Airport.  She reported that this has already occured 3 times today on her shift for her airline.  She said golf bags and Tumi bags are the most stolen at the Las Vegas Airport.  My husband's bag was a large Tumi Rolling Garment bag.  Unfortunately it was filled with expensive clothes.  The airline employee directed him to file a police report in case the bag shows up at a pawn shop.   According to the airline employee, the police will watch the carousels for a few days and then begin to not pay attention until there is another rash of thefs.  WATCH YOUR BAG IN THE LAS VEGAS AIRPORT.
