Hair/Makeup for Bridesmaids

This is a more general question. Is it typical for the bridesmaids to have a hair and makeup trial as well, or is that really a preferential decision?

    none of mine did, and i never did a trial as a bridesmaid.

    my sister was a bridesmaid in our cousin's wedding and her hairdo was so awful she had to take a shower and re-do it herself...so i think she wishes she would have done a trial!

    i've never done one when being a bridesmaid... but if a bm is interested, i'd throw it out there.  It could be just another bonding time with friends :)

    I don't think so...although I did bring of one my BMs with when I did my trial.  We also discussed a general plan for MU for the BMs so that it'd be easier for the MUA artist the day-of

    I am a hair stylist and we rarely get a BM that wants a trial...there are a few that want them and we will do it. Ususally BM just come in with a picture and a lot of trust in us :)
