creative name cards/ table name ideas

For my reception, I'd like a fun, creative way to display my guests' name cards that indicate which table they will be at. I am also considering "naming" tables rather than using numbers. Anyone have any ideas?

you could name them after famous couples, or you could name them after special places you and your htb have visited. try many different languages for the word "love"

mine are named after our favorite places in Cincinnati.  We loved the idea, however, you might want to still include a number so the guests arent searching too long for their table.

We are doing ours based on sites in Italy we want to see or cities (so like David or something) or The Vatican (and put them in alphabetical order) so people can find their tables and maybe different colors so people can just see their color table name and find it (for those who can't see words real well).

If I did names, I was going to use our favorite movies.

My cousin is an architect and so is his wife.  For their wedding the tables were named after buildings they like or have visited.  I also went to a wedding once around christmas where they used chrismas carols.  Recently I saw pictures from another friend from college and their tables repersented different parts of their life together such as for my fiancee and I could have a BGSU table to repersent college, a Toledo table for where he grew up, a U of M table for where I went for grad school (and because we're fans)....get the idea.
