  I'm so sorry to hear this!  I lost my job on 7/31--22 days before our wedding--with no severance pay.  At least I've had plenty of time to work on wedding stuff and go to the gym.  Just stay positive and know that there's something better out there for him!

  I'm sorry to hear that! ~~ I work at the Clerk's Office so I had to see alot of the officers who got laid off yesterday and it was horrible :-(

  Is your FI a police officer? My FI and I have been watching all of that in the news. FI is a state trooper. We just aren't understanding why police/fire are the first cuts! Good luck to you both and tell him good luck with the applications. I think there are a couple of close departments hiring right now, so hopefully he can quickly find something!
