Christmas in Modena! It's back! I will also be including some general "WTF" pictures at the bottom for your enjoyment.
Central square, with the antiques fair, and the lovely snow flakes projected on the 1000 yr. old church.

Better view of the church and the bell tower that is being renovated under crazy cover.

They hang lights over almost all of the streets.

At the back, you can see the old Ducal Palace, which is now a military academy.

This is just an example of what it looks like during what we call "Walkie time". Everyone gets dressed up and wanders around the town. We don't use sidewalks here.

This is one of my favorite spots.

We're at the end of our street here, and looking over to the museum. You can see the street plaque on the wall there.

At one of the many Christmas stalls where we bought a couple ornaments.

The square where they have concerts, and the Christmas booths.

This is the fresh market in the center of the city. It's open during the week from 7am to about 2 or 3. You can't really see it,, but there are stars hanging from the ceiling.

Aaaaand, your special WTF is that, here's a photos of one of the display windows for a clothing store.
