  I thought I'd be relieved but it was basically a glorified pelvic exam.  My doctor's office doesn't do the heartbeat or anything like that until after 12 weeks (so my first trimester scan would be the first time I'd see it).  I've been bleeding a bit though so my doctor ordered a sonogram for tomorrow to make sure that everything's okay.  I'll feel better once I actually see the baby and hear the heartbeat and have evidence that everything is okay!

  That's frustrating. I fear that mine will go the exact same way. At least you'll have some relief tomorrow. I'm the same way- I'll feel a million times better once I see the baby and hear the heartbeat! I'm sure everything is fine. I hope you have a great appointment tomorrow!

  Thanks girls, I'll feel much better after tomorrow.  It's just so stressful right now.  We were so lucky in it happening so fast that I feel like something is bound to go wrong.  I did call my doc and she said it's most likely bleeding from the pap and nothing to worry about.  Seeing blood when you're preggo is definitely scary though, even in small amounts.
