Back from Honeymoon &amp; MARRIED!!!

We were married on Aug 1 - At the Towers in Narragansett. It was a fabulous day! Everything went well! A couple snags with the towers & with the tuxes but Ill post vendor reviews in a couple of days after I get settled in. Hi Alicia, I think we may have talked on here before. I am getting married in RI next year, I'm from CO. I went to visit the Towers two weeks ago. I couldn't get a hold of the lady who is in charge of them, so I didn't get to go inside, but from the outside, they look ok. How did it go on your wedding? What kind of issues did you have with the Towers? Also, were there pretty places to take pro wedding pics? The Towers are right in the middle of a busy area, and I didn't see too many places... How many people did you fit in there? Were you comfortable in there? I really like how you set up your tables, instead of doing round ones. Do you think that gave you more room by doing the long tables? Did you have your ceremony there as well, or just reception? I'm sorry for the 20 questions. Any information you can give me would be great. Thank you so much!

Congrats!!!I have been a bit absent from the boards since our wedding in July. I've been a bit busy with the HM and my birthday and all of the post-wedding madness! I still need to post my reviews and such - still waiting on pics.Thanks for the peek at your photos. I love how wonderfully the colors 'pop'! I can't wait to read all about how everything was.

Codi - We had 90 ppl. I didnt do the tuscan tables for the room - i did it because i liked the look better. We had the ceremony in wickford at the wickford baptist church. We didnt do our pro pics there we went to a rocky beach for them. We did do some fun shots at the towers at sunset in the casino courtyard but that was just my fi and i. I had no problems with the towers at all - up until during my RD. My coordinator from Russell Morins let me know that they were demanding an extra $700 because RMs needed more than an hour to set up?? Of course they do. And they said that my band is playing a half hour longer than most weddings 7-11pm so they wanted another $300 for that. If I didnt comply (even though it WASNT in my signed contract) they would shut the band down early. All this DURING my RD. I couldnt believe this was something not brought to my attention earlier in the week and I had all this stress of trying to fight it DURING my RD. Also- My centerpieces were all done by my florist - Jeff and Co.
