How long is the rehearsal?

It's about time for me to get on FI about booking the rehearsal dinner, but I don't know what time to tell him to make the reservations! 

About how long do you think the rehearsal will go?  Is an hour good?  We're starting at 6 pm...

    I think an hour should be fine if the rehearsal dinner is close by and your wedding party isn't huuuge. But, I'm not married yet so might not be the best resource :-)

    Our site coordinator said to allow about an hour. She said that it probably won't actually take that long, but people might be late or stuff like that. I think it also depends on how long your ceremony is going to be. The more reading and songs to practice, the longer the rehearsal will take.

    We just put our deposit down on our church tonight and they said it should only last an hour..
