Ok it's Photog time!!!!

I am planning on making appointments with Joe Biggs, Geri Ciulla, and LuckyClover... Anyone else that I should be considering? I think I am going to do my Engagement photos through Breakthrough Images simply because the price is amazing for a session and what's included....Well, let me hear your suggestions! I want someone fun and upbeat who takes a mixture of the classic shots and some with more of a "fun" feel to them...

    We're using Geri - I love her work. Just to let you know, she does her engagement sessions for free with her packages. It's sort of a "get to know you" kind of thing and helps you be more comfortable in front of her on the big day :) Good luck!

    I've booked Michael Bambino...his work is amazing, I can't wait to do my engagement pictures with him on September 27th. :)

    We are using Masterworks Photography and would highly recommend them.  Their pricing includes a free e-pic session as well.  They are very creative and do some awesome work!

    Mandy, FYI engagement pictures are often included in the photographer's packages... at least in the ones we looked into. We met with Geri, she is really outgoing and easy to get along with, and her work is beautiful. This might seem like a stupid reason, but we didn't book her because she seemed a little flustered throughout our entire meeting, which made me feel nervous...that isn't a vibe I want on my wedding day. I can't speak for the other two photogs, but did you check out White Photography? Bob seems to be comparable to the other photographers you are considering. Good luck and let us know how it goes...

    I have not, but I will look into them. I know Joe Biggs b/c he is big on the west side where I am from, plus he did my MOH's wedding and did great! Thanks for the info everyone!

    I used White Photography and we loved our photos. We spent a little more time going to different locations and doing a lot of pics of just DH and I. They turned out amazing. Also, ditto pp on the fact that engagement pics are included in just about every package offered...you should not pay extra or pay a separate photographer for it. www.whiteimagery.com Some of our pics are in a gallery there under Jason & JenniferGL!

    If you're still considering others, I'll throw in Nick with 808 Studios! Our wedding is in Columbus, but I lurked on this board while I was living in Cincinnati. His studio is based in Dayton so I'm only ever on here anymore to rave about him -- he doesn't charge for time/mileage and e-pics are included in all his packages, but if you choose to do them with someone else, he takes the price off your package. Everything is customizable, and he has just the right touch for pictures that we and our families would love to see. :) Plus, he's funny, super laid back and absolutely no pressure.
