New and Flower??'s

Hello, my name is Anna, I'm a 8/28/10 bride for the Towers.  I was wondering if anyone had any opinions both for quality of service/flowers and budget between jeff and co and golden gate.  (or any other suggestions).  i am meeting with Jay from GG on Wed but was looking for other opinions/info as well!  Thanks

GG and Jeff & Co get mentioned alot on here-all good reviews as well. I met with GG but went with Florals by Alisa, you should check them out and see if they are available for your date. LOVED my flowers. All florists should be able to work with your budget but you may have to compromise on the flowers you want. Always walk into your appt with a budget and colors/flowers that you would like but have an open mind.

I'm using Jeff for my 9/5/09 BI wedding. I've heard nothing but positive things. He just did Alicia's wedding at the Towers.

I'm not sure what your budget is like but Nancy Birch from www.grandifloradesign.com did an amazing job with my flowers.

The flower girls in Warwick. I am using her and her prices are great like the other person said. She has a huge book full of work she did in the past. Also, she only does one wedding a day so gives your wedding her full attetion.

I think all of the florists listed are pretty talented but Jeff and Co takes the cake in my book (as far as creativity is concerned). Budget wise I think Jeff and Co and the Flower Girls out of Warwick do a really super job at working within your budget. I like GG because of their quality but I am really not all impress with their work because I see quite a bit of repetition. I've seen some of their "short" centerpiece mock-ups on here for $75 when the types of flowers used are really simple and the design is basic oasis floral foam in a square glass vase. Regardless of who you choose, make sure you get everything on paper and be very specific. Inquire about paying in cash for a discount (like Twigs Florist/Cranston) and how much the delivery fee is because that is a big hidden cost. Another florist you might want to consider is Gigi. If you are on a budget she can definitely help since she does this out of her home so there is no overhead cost. She list prices for petite packages including reception and ceremony with available flowers for selection. GL http://www.gigisfloraldesigns.com/
