flower help...

My siggy pic is my ideal bouquet.  Simple  yet elegant.  One problem with it... calla lillies are so typical for a wedding.  I don't even like flowers.  I definitely see them as a waste of money.  I love the idea of only having 3 flowers (like my siggy) and having my girls each carry a single flower.  But I want something unique.  My dress definitely fits my personality so I feel like the flowers should too.  So any ideas?  What if I just skipped flowers altogether and have a bouquet of something else?  Uh... I don't know what else... so any ideas for that?  lol.TIA!

Hmm, that's a tough one! lol You could maybe try a baby's breath bouquet. They're actually really pretty & obviously inexpensive, since it's just filler. I've also seen carnations in tight bunches that look nice (I'm thinking Molly did them). Carnations are usually inexpensive as well. What are your colors again? I'm not sure what the other options would be instead of flowers...I'm having trouble thinking outside the box!

How about gerbera daisies!  They are not as expensive as calla's.  They come in a variety of different colors, like fushsia and ivory.  Plus you could use other filler flowers like mums or carnations they are really cheap and they are in season for a November wedding.

I love baby's breath bouquets!Gerbera daisies are very pretty. What about anemones? There's also the felt flower & button bouquets, beaded wire bouquets, feather bouquets, or the butterfly bouquets.

N, where do I find that beaded wire one?  I sooooo love it!  The button one is so very cool also.  I like the butterfly one but it wouldnt really fit in with my wedding!

I just googled wire bouquet. It was in a few blogs a while back, but I don't know the original source.

Nuelsi, I'm in LOVE with the last one you posted!!!

I really like the last one Nuelsi posted with the feathers- I think that would fit your theme well. Are you still doing snowflakes? I have heard of bridesmaids (and maybe bride?) carrying a muff type of thing.

Kim, the muff thing is a good idea for a winter wedding!  I was in a wedding in December a couple years ago, and we carried them instead of flowers.
