  no kidding. btw, dh has a medical condition where he gets up 4-6 times a night (and has been doing so for 15+ years) and yet he rarely btches about it. and yet somehow, i magically understand and am sympathetic.  i think if he ever said, "you just don't get it; you've had a full night's sleep!", i would have called him out for the juvenile response that it is.parents don't understand indeed.
