I ate half a strawberry Sprinkles cupcake this morning after my 3 mile run and weights session. It was totally worth it. :)

My boss told me that I should be less chatty when I meet with the higher ups because it makes me seem flighty... I know that I shouldn't really let it bother me, but I'm still steaming over it! I mean if I'm so incompetent, then why do I keep getting more and more work piled on my desk?

I don't know what kind of career I want...I hate numbers so anything with math is out, I don't have the patience to be a teacher, I don't want to sit in an office all day....does the perfect job exist?

I didn't get up and run this morning like I had planned.  Tonight I'll try to get bed earlier so that I'll actually feel rested and want to get up at 5:00.I'm having dinner tonight with Emi :)   Pretty excited about it! I got my dress and shoes for our anniversary in the mail.  I tried them on together last night.  I don't want to sound conceited but dude.  Those shoes and the dress make my legs look KILLER.  All I need is a tan and I'll be rocking that dress come Sept. 19th.  Can't. Wait.

I haven't felt like being on The Knot lately.  IDK why. My husband is cast as Billy Flynn in Chicago!!  I didn't get into this one...I was disappointed at first, mostly because all my best friends are in it, but I'm happy to have time off to do things like have dinner with friends again (ahem...Mariah....remember when we used to hang out??).  :)

We met with a pretty cool DJ last night that has been DJing since he was 16.  I thought, "cool, this is clearly something you obviously have always wanted to do."Then at the end of the night, he told us that he was 18.  I mean, that makes DJ'ing since 16 seem not as relevant... it's only been 2 years!  That totally threw me off.  I really thought he was in his mid-20's.

I can think of about 5 other places I would rather be than at work.I really need to go pick up my dress this weekend and I'm just not excited about it for some reason anymore.Yes Marissa, I think some signal was sent out or something to alert them to start in.  The last couple of months have been decent until this week.  A warning would have been nice.

We should plan a Plano g2g while Mandy has the time off. :) Sorry, Amber.  I was having one of those Monday. :( Sometimes hubbys get on my nerves.  Today would be one of those days.

We have this small bags of goldfish crackers (200 calories a bag).  I've just blown through one bag and I'm about to get another one.  I'm hungry today.  And the cheese and saltiness of the crackers is sooooooooooooooooo good.

Compared to some I'm really far behind on my invitations. Oh well. I'm sending them out today and I'm really excited they're only $.44 each. That makes the $100 worth of stamps I bought yesterday go pretty far! Marissa- 99.9% of the time, if you're ever searching for a jerk, visit my office. The men here are rediculous. Always. Mariah- now I want some cheesy salty goldfish!

I miss the food in Richardson. I had so many wonderful Asian options out there and loved it. Now that I work in downtown, I don't know what to eat. Where can you get Korean tofu down here? Where's the dumpling house?? Ugh. I'm hungry.Lyndie Beth--I like your new pic. Cute outfit!

Anyone else call BS on Sherri Shepherd being a size 6? Props to her for losing weight, but...

  • edited December 2011
LOL Cheryl - I just looked it up on Google and if she is a size 6 then I've been buying clothes about 3 sizes too big!!!  Come on, do they really expect us to believe that? I have missed you all!  I just got home last night from my Seattle business trip.  The city is awesome but I did not have mucy leisure time.  The trip itself was pretty bad though, not only did I have to lay off people but when I got back, my car (actually J's truck) had been towed from the airport!!!  $250 later, I was able to get it out of impound.  They claim I was parked "over the line" in the parking spot so they towed me...SERIOUSLY???  Luckily my job has said they will reimburse me for it.
