Table Names

Fiance and I are having a "country" themed wedding. Outdoors, boots, country band and we've decided that instead of table numbers we're going to name the tables by Country Songs that mean something to us personally or as a couple.

We're throwing around the idea of in addition to putting the song title at the table, adding the lyrics and/ or why the song is important to us. Maybe a 5x7 frame sized card with the title large (and thus easily found) the lyrics smaller below it and on the opposite side a brief why this matters to us?

Does this just sound too busy? Or a cute idea?

I can't decide...

I think that might be a biit busy, but that's just my opinion. The names on cards sound good but I would leave off the lyrics and explanation

Agree. Song titles is a great idea...song lyrics is a bit busy.

if you leave out the lyrics, I think you should still put the importance of the song on the card. I think it would make more sense to your guest and provide some dinner conversation

i think its a good idea. if someone is bored, its something nice to read and it could also be a good converstion piece for people who dont know each other that well. if you dont put all the lyrics you could just put a small quote or the chorus.
