Hi, We are in search of a DJ right now as well and well I saw you mentioned Christina's DJ (which she mentioned to me as well when we met) you also mentioned the price is right. I was looking into John Suarez from After Dark Entertainment and well his price seems to be awesome. Have you looked into After Dark? Are the prices similar? I never thought a DJ would be so complicated...but it makes sense, since he'll be the life of the party. Thanks.

    I havent looked into After Dark...how are their prices? The one Christina recommended is charging me $800...I am supposed to send the down pymt today, so please let me know before I make a boo boo. Thanks!

    Hey well after dark is charging us 850 flat fee. No tax set up etc. Dance lights r included. I'm a bit hesitant to hire anyone cuz they r the life of the party. I've met John he seems very nice n very responsive with emails answered all my questions n very professional in person. The only prob was he is located in Anaheim so this past sat we met up with him at one of his gigs. I guess not so much a prob since we got to meet him. I contacted Tom Chandler as well super nice n prices seem to be reasonable but he is a bit more than after dark. I'm waiting for another quote I saw perform st lucky strike lanes but I feel almost positive his prices will be high. Also since my family is Latino I feel like the Dj needs to conect in some way with salsa,merengue cumbias. So. I need the best of both worlds. Christinas DJ seems to be giving you a good deal. I'm so confused with picking the right one!

    yeah, I know what you mean. It's so hard to make these decisions!!! Cristina's guy is latin and when we met up I didnt even have to say what type of music I wanted...He seriously listed all the music types that were in my mind. He also know's some music artist that fi likes (wu tang and other underground hiphop artist) so that was good. He is also including the basic lighting and such. I guess I'm going with him, he is really nice and good in responding emails and phone calls on the same day. He is located near Burbank, we met up in pasadena. HTH. =| Let's wish each other luck! =)
