The Bell Tower on 34th???

Has anyone used or tried to contact The Bell Tower on 34th? I found this place in the bridal extravaganza book that I got. I've tried to call 3 times and there is no answer. The pictures I found are AMAZING and I'd love to tour it. Does anyone have any info for it? I was wondering if maybe anyone else had trouble contacting them. I think they are new?

It's the old Tuscany Villa of Garden Oaks.  Now, the new owners have NOTHING to do with TGO, but it is the same building. It is a beautiful venue and I've had an opportunity to talk to them already.  Great people.

I'm excited for that place as well.  It was just such a disappointment under TGO, so I'm glad the building is up and running again!  :)

Great that place is up and running now. Ugh just hearing this makes me so mad, even if they are new owners.

I'm sorry Janie....I know it's gotta make all the BT/TGO brides sick to their stomach for what was done to you ladies. In the defense of the new owners, they had nothing to do with it, and found an opportunity to purchase these venues.  The same goes for the new Villa Rinata (formerly BT).  But I know it's gotta suck and I am sorry for that.  In the end, though, you still had a stunningly beautiful wedding!  :)

STBMrsMartin: Thanks!! I'll try to email you from home this evening. I didn't even realize it was the old tuscany villa. I heard about all of that on the radio when it happened. It's a beautiful place and it has the "old world" look I've been searching for. I'm touring a different venue this evening.....keeping my fingers crossed!! I think this is venue number 15!!

I actually would have been a TGO bride if they had returned my calls after we went and toured the place I never heard from him again...I called and called but then took it as a sign that it was not meant to be. Thank God.  I was pretty mad that I never got called back though but I think the guy who we were dealing with left the company soon after we met with him. It's definatly a beautiful place though...we toured during construction.

Hello Bride!  I'm one of the brides that was displaced by TGO and yes the place "was" beautiful..... I don't for one second believe that the "new" owners didn't have "some" form of affiliation with the owners of the Tuscany.  Reason being, there was a Roger who was the contractor and owned a portion of the business.  Carolyn James, former owner, then sold off a large amount of the kitchen gear for a ridiculous amount......hmmmmm!  Roger Igo was the realtor that represented the buyer of The Bell Tower, Plus Roger has filed bankruptcy....like the rest of them.....so there is NO way we will ever see our money! The only thing I can hope is that he, Roger, got mixed up with the wrong people....Carolyn James and her idiot son, Daniel.  The money that has been stolen was left to me when my father pasted away.......no father to walk me down the aisle hurt anyways.....but these people took away our dream wedding.....I hope people watch us, be smart and BUY wedding insurance....I wish I would have, but again why would anyone be expecting to be taken advantage of on one of the most important events of one's life.Which is why they knew they could get away with it.......pull on the heart strings.....it will get ya some money....and then go file bankruptcy......nice!  I guess that's how they roll, scum bags!   I wish all the brides the best and please enjoy this most special time of your life!  But don't be naive......be smart and don't take things at face value!

Abramlett79 I hope you are able to find a venue!  But don't believe these people that are telling you the new owners don't have some involvement.  I just spoke to a good friend, who knows for sure that it's the same Roger and Angela Igo that were involved with the Tuscany.

Thank you all for the replies! I am actually going with my 2nd choice tomorrow (we'll be signing the paperwork!). I actually became really leary of the bell tower AND villa rinata because no one would answer at one and the THIRD day I tried there was a busy signal at both properties. How can you contact potential customers without a business phone? My wedding and reception will be at Weston Lakes in Fulshear. My first choice was The Tuscany Villa in Katy. I so LOVED that place, but it is way out of our budget range and we will be way under 75 ppl. Since WL is pretty reasonable I am going to do tons of flowers! Thanks again all for the help :-)

abramlett:  Good for you girl!  I wish you the best.....I'm sorry if my responses sounded harsh....I'm still just so hurt by these people and if I can do anything in my power to help some bride not experience heartache.....then I've done something good!  Best of Luck...your getting married!

abramlett79: I am glad you found the place you really wanted. :-) that suited you. I know about the past of TGO  & BT. It is very sad what happen to all those brides. I feel for those brides. I couldn't imagine what they all went threw. What a nigtmare.I just know it is very different now with the 34th bell tower from when it was operated as TGO. It is a beautiful place hope it works out for the best for future brides. Good Luck with your wedding planning!! Congrats!

Apparently, my last post stating true facts about this new Bell Tower were deleted. I will log on to this website everyday if I have to just to make sure this information is made available to all brides looking to book their wedding at the OLD Tuscany in Garden Oaks.   I have a document that shows Roger Clifton Igo dba Igo Developement filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy on May 13, 2009.  Roger and Angela Igo are now operating The Bell Tower, but to what extent I do not know.  I was told Angela is the wedding coordinator and that Roger answers the phone when you select the "operations" option.  I don't know how to upload this document for you all to view and I can't copy and paste it b/c it is an Adobe Acrobat file.  If any of you know how I can do this, please let me know.
