    Is bragging about spontaneous special time before DH went to rehearsal TMI to AW?  Sorry, if so....but when he's been sick with pneumonia for WEEKS.....

    We haven't had special time in I don't know when.  We have to sleep with our door open and kiddo is still on summer vacation and is up until all hours.Thank goodness school starts Monday.

    LOL @ all of you! We went to pick out our wedding bands yesterday! I know the wedding is still 14 months away, but we had our reasons. When FI went to buy the e-ring, he was in a big hurry because his dad's health was deteriorating fast and he wanted to be able to tell his dad he was going to propose and show him the ring while he was still conscious enough to understand. But because he was in such a hurry, he wasn't able to get the one that he wanted to get (the one we picked out together). SO... we're exchanging the e-ring he bought for the wedding bands and getting a new e-ring very similar to the one we picked out. Maybe I should have saved this for FFF, but I'm excited about it! Whew, sorry that was so long!

    I get to mail my invitations today! It's about time. I also completed 99% of my 'thank you' cards and those are going out today too.

    I just got my 6 month review and it was awesome!! I got alot of great compliments and my supervisor said she couldn't find anything to mark as needed improvement! Hopefully that means a raise will come soon? After our salary freeze of course!Another..I just got the invite for our company pool party! I am excited. One of our VPs host it at her million dollar home and its ladies only! Her home is my dream home. Its the most beautiful home I have ever seen and been in. This is our 3rd one but I thought they were going to cut it out since the economy.

    I was cast as Guido's Mom in the musical Nine we are doing.That and I am the dance director :DGypsy was trying to keep my stress as minimal as possible but still give me a substantial role to play in regards to the musical. Which I am glad she did! The show opens the weekend after my wedding!We got the official ok from the higher ups for Velocity to go to NEW YORK end of may!!!! SOOO excited!!!! We are going to do some community outreach with dance and take class and see a show whilest there! This is going to be the trip and opportunity of a lifetime!!!! EEP!

    I take my bridals this Saturday!!!!  I am less than 2 months away from the wedding!!! I've vowed to eat no candy, cake, cookies, or ice cream and also drink no diet Dr. Pepper until after the wedding.  This is day 4 and I've done awesome!

    Lindsay, you've inspired me.  There has been birthday cake almost constantly up here this month.  I keep telling myself--you have to be in a bikini in 3 months.  But it hasn't worked.  So I start today!I guess my AW is my invitations will go to the calligrapher this weekend.  If I can line all the envelopes by then.

    I mailed invites yesterday! I know I am way behind but they did get out finally.  Still so much to do with only like 35 or something days left. I think I might start worrying today or tomorrow about all I still need to do but right now I am still stoked I got the invites out!

    I had a customer call back to talk to my supervisor and compliment me on my great follow up! It is awesome to feel appreciated in a mostly thankless customer service job!

    I went to the Paul McCartney concert last night!  It was one of the best shows I have ever seen.  I never thought I would get to hear Beatles songs performed live.

    I had a great time with Mariah at dinner last night. It was some much needed girl time. Also, this afternoon my workout was freaking amazing. I needed a good sweat to motivate me again. I feel freakin' fabulous!

    My mom and I went to see "Mamma Mia" last night.  I told everyone that I was going to see "Mamma Mia" with my mama.  :-)  She had a great time and I'm so glad I just made her come.  She really wanted to but was a little worried about the cost of the ticket.  They were much cheaper than the tickets we bought to "Phantom" at Fair Park and we sat in the orchestra.

    My husband is also rockin today! Without any complaining or procrastination he took my car in for some work it's been needing all summer. And in the middle of the afternoon he sent me a random photo of a stuffed animal of mine in a cute position/setting. It was totally unexpected and made my week! Also, I'm proud that I've made it to being able to run two miles straight through. Never in my life have I been able to do that! Now I've got about five weeks to add another mile to that and pick up the pace a bit. I might actually make it through a 5k!

    Also, I'm proud that I've made it to being able to run two miles straight through.Alana, I did the Couch-to-5k program, and I did that first 2 mile run the day after I got engaged. It felt incredible!Good job! I could barely run a mile when I started, and now I run 5ks twice a week and actually enjoy them!
