    Good morning.  Another busy day... won't be around much, I don' t think.  Tomorrow we're meeting with our caterer and going out with FI's friends for dinner.  The rest of the weekend I'm on a serious hunt to find a fridge and a stove for the new house. Have a great day!

    Good morning!I'm knotting/working from home today, which means I'll be going to the mall later this morning.  :)  FI's bach party is this weekend, so I'm going to go out with some girlfriends tomorrow.  Sunday will beup in the air until we see how hungover he is.

    Good Morning.  I'm at work early today so that I can leave early because my parents are coming in this afternoon.  I love my parents, but I really wish they weren't coming in this weekend.  It means I can't really get anything done while they are here and there is a ton of stuff I need to do.I started and finished Something Borrowed last night.  It was pretty good.  And, because of the wonder and danger that is the Kindle, I was able to start right into Something Blue.  I'm about 1/3 of the way through.  I love Rachel, but I really, really don't like Darcy.

    Good Morning, everyone. I was at work from 7am yesterday to 6:30 last night. What a sucky day it was. I have my 2nd fitting tomorrow and my make up trial with Clare on Sunday - other than that; I'm not leaving the house.  I'm doing thank you cards and wedding projects ALL.WEEKEND.LONG. :)

    Morning, friends! :)   This weekend should be good. A) I'm boot-less (yaaay!) and b) Not too many crazy plans.  I have a surprise b.day party to go to for a co-worker, dinner with friends on Sunday, we're getting new tires on the car at Costco (soo exciting-haha). I agree - Something Borrowed was great, but I didn't like Something Blue because of Darcy. I just finished 'Love the One You're With' - also by Emily Griffin -and didn't love it. Seems she may have hit the mark with her first book and slid down the hill after that.

    Hey there!  I just finished Something Blue-I liked it a lot, but Darcy PISSED ME OFF!  I'm also in the middle of the 10th Anita Blake book, really like those too.  Not too much going on today-goign shopping for school clothes-fun fun.  Oh FI got a new job in Morgantown!  YAY!  He just heard yesterday and is very excited about it.  I'm excited too:-)  We both just plan on chilling this weekend becasue school starts for us boht on Monday-no kids for another week though!Happy Weekend!

    Morning all! TGI-friggin' F! Tonight we're doing dinner/drinks with one of DH's old friends who happens to be a girl (but was never a girlfriend), and she's so fun and funny! Tomorrow and some of Sunday I'll be cleaning & organizing the apt (apparently, I get the Fall cleaning bug, not the Spring one), then dinner with some friends. I finished Something Borrowed last night, too! DH was asking me what I was gasping about as I was reading. I waved him off, muttering, "book." lol, I'm not sure I want to read Something Blue now. I hate Darcy! And if no one stands up to her and makes her stop her crap, I'll be so mad!

    Good morning!  We're going to hopefully reserve an apartment after work today, then drive by some more houses.  We'll spend tomorrow packing and make another trip to my parents' house.I'm going to the mall today too, I've decided I need some retail therapy.

    Good Morning! OMG it's finally Friday!I have a lot of work to complete today since next week is my last week and my (good) boss is off next week. We have a few wedding projects to complete: OOT bags, buying the beer, making new signs for the bar, etc. But everything is pretty much wrapped up!We met with our DJ last night and he's bringing a full set of lights for the wedding, so he's going to do a color wash in the tent. FUN!

    Dori - It is worth it to read Something Blue because of the way that Darcy makes changes in her life. I do like that part. It is contrived (what chick lit book isn't?), but I like one of the (familiar) characters that helps her on her 'redemption journey' a lot, and I think that you would also. Just my 2 centavos.

    Morning all!  Happy Friday!We have the best weekend plans IMO - casual ones.  :)  Date night tonight, a birthday party/housewarming for friends tomorrow, complete with drunken laser tag (of course, I won't be drinking or playing laser tag, but it will be fun to watch everyone else.  :)  No real plans on Sunday - DH's last day of summer!  (FINALLY!)I read Something Borrowed and Blue awhile ago, but I remember kinda liking Darcy at the end.  Or at least sympathizing with her.  Molly, I think Giffin slipped a lot with her other books too - I haven't read Love The One You Are With yet.  But Baby Proof was just eh, IMO.

    Good morning!I have a huge presentation this afternoon - ugh. Who schedules big important meetings on a Friday afternoon? I hate wearing suits on Fridays :-/  After that I can finally relax, woohoo!We had our first doggy training session last night with our pit bull. It was an in-house session and our dog did SO well. The trainer was so impressed with how quickly she learned everything. We are so excited that she's making progress already! I felt like a proud parent, haha!My company picnic is tomorrow afternoon, then DH and I might do a date night if we're not too tired. Sunday we're going to the Nationals baseball game with some friends. Its going to be a hot one!

    Good morning. I hate this rain. Tonight is Saddleridge! Does anyone here like that place? I love to do the line dancing. Sat me and FI going to eat at the casino and maybe win some money. A co worker of his said the buffet is really yummy. We will have to see. Sunday I HAVE to do wedding stuff. Everytime the news mentions the Summit its like my own timeline. Not too many weeks left and still no bouquet ideas. Blah

    Oh, I just finished something blue two nights ago and actually really enjoyed it.  Not as much as something borrowed, but enough to be pleased at the end.  I just started Baby Proof yesterday and am pretty intrigued to see where it goes.Not shopping for anything fun--I have to get shirts for the groomsmen.

    Good Morning ladies! I'm finally going to get my hair done today- appt. on Tue. was cancelled. I am still a little nervous, but am excited b/c I know I will feel SO much better afterwards. No plans for this weekend except game night with our friends tom.Jenn- Have fun at your make-up trial and dress fitting this weekend. Pics please! :-)Heather- Congrats to your FI on the job!Jen (skyblue)- Have fun at the Nats game! We went for the first time about a month ago- sucky team, but nice stadium (not that we're not used to the suck team part...haha)

    Morning!  Yay for Friday!!Busy weekend for me!  Tonight I'm meeting a friend for dinner and then we're going to see Time Traveler's Wife. Tomorrow is the AMERICAN IDOL concert!!!  I can't wait to see sexy Adam!! :)  Sunday is my nephew's baptism, and my parents are having a little party for him after!Darcy is a biotch, but I liked her by the end of Something Blue.  Is that the last book or are any of her other books a continuation of that story?  Someone told me there was a third book, but I thought it was just another book unrelated to Something Borrowed, Something Blue.

    Baby Proof is her third book, but it's unrelated in characters.  And my understanding is that Love the One Your With is unrelated as well, but I haven't grabbed a copy yet.

    Good Morning ladies! This makes me really curious about these books! I might have to take a trip to thelibrary to see what all the fuss is about! FI and I are going to my parents tonight, tomorrow we're working on the house and then going to a certain friends' wedding..., church sunday and then a friend's bbq deck party. Fun!

    Good morning!  Yay for Friday :)  Sounds like everyone has fun and productive weekends planned!  This weekend will be busy as usual- going out with some girlfriends for an early happy hour at a new rooftop bar, then meeting up with the guys at a different rooftop at someone's apartment building for dinner and drinks.  Tomorrow morning we're leaving for a friend's lake house in Wisconsin for the rest of the weekend!I'm meeting with my orthopedic surgeon later this morning to figure out what the heck is going on with my broken foot and hopefully get some good news- and an end date in sight for my boot :)  Any spare vibes would be appreciated!

    TGIF!  Just got in this morning cause I had every women's favorite dr's appt this morning. :/Tonight we're probably just hanging out at the house.  Tomorrow going to see Hal Sparks at the Improv, and Sunday we're doggie sitting for my mom.
