Confession for a Friday afternoon

Yeah, I just finished Baby Proof. I thought it was pretty good. I really liked how she worked Ethan and Darcy into the book too. I guess I really should have done something else today besides read, but it's fun to do that every once in a while, especially when I found out DH isn't coming home until tomorrow now :(

Sometimes you just get sucked into a good book! Everything else you "should have done" will still be waiting for you. I promise. My confession: I made mocha cupcakes last night and put them on the cooling rack. A few minutes ago, instead of sweeping the crumbs off the counter, I licked my finger and picked up as much as I could.

Whenever people ask for book recommendations on here, the books by Emily Giffin always seem to come up. Something Borrowed is first, then Something Blue. Then Baby Proof, then Love the One You're With. Last night, I wanted to read something light, so I started with Something Borrowed. I have to admit, they were exactly perfect for a read right now.

Jen, they are fluffy chick lit - but fun reads. Shannon, I'm glad you finished.  Maybe I'll take a reading day on Sunday and finish the 3 books that I've started.  :)
