Im trying to figure out if I can "afford" to go to subway for dinner because im too lazy to cook, then I will eat and continue watching Gilmore Girls (ive watched nothing but this show since last weekend, its sad) until my husband gets home at 8, then watch one of the three movies he rented - duplicity, adventureland or sunshine cleaning. Not sure what to watch yet.
• cew: When we go to Costco, we buy the giant box, that people get for house parties and stuff ... and for about a month that provides us with our once a week "Dork Dinner" ...Tonight I just have no will to eat "real" food, lol.

• OMG, on the RI board somebody just posted the infamous "to cash bar or not to cash bar" query. Add to my agenda: "tell idiot girl: NO! BAD! We do that OUTSIDE!"

• rick - They are all charged up.  One fan for DH and one for me.  Then another large battery pack I can charge laptop, iphone and even knot if I want.

• We are going out for dinner in a moment. FI is drinking a beer and watching Simpsons so I'm on here. I want some delicious red velvet cake!

• Salt, come to NoVa! Lynda, that is major battery back up. Impressive!
• Red velvet cake and cream cheese icing=AMAZING. We had an office birthday party yesterday for our high school apprentice and I gorged on red velvet cake and vanilla ice cream. DELISH. My evening is going to be filled with moping. Just found out homecoming got pushed back another month (FI is in Iraq). I am currently contemplating making a batch of margaritas and/or cream cheese brownies.
• Oh and I just got my wedding jewelries YAY!!

• kelsey, sounds like both are in order.
• Yay for wedding jewelry Salt! And just email me. We'll figure something out.
• You try living in the VI... We lose power all the effn time. If I lived in a home and not a condo I would have a full blown house generator.  But we can't have that at the condo.  The condo has a generator for water and sewage.  I just have a few 18v power tool batteries that run fans for 3 hours.  Plus pretty big battery pack that runs quite a few things for 5 hours. (but nothing like a refrigde)If it lasts more than 5 hours, we go to our friends 50 foot boat and stay in one of the staterooms.  Trust me I'm set..

• Sa-weet!And if anyone cares, I'm AWing my jewelry. I wanted to do simple because of the beady-ness of my cap sleeves.New necklace and earrings. I love them.

• Awww thanks you guys!Meaghan - Neither do I, but once I found the necklace I had to go with the earrings. I got them at the most amazing accessories store near my house. $20. And I just happened to have a gift card in my wallet that I thought was done, but it had $23. So basically it was my lucky day!Haha I have a pearl necklace.

• Ha! Salt!
• My automatic and overaggressive snort at the mention of 'pearl necklace' belies my successful start at KUI.
• I just woke up from a nice nap, DH just got home.  Food and beer will probably be consumed soon.  We're lame and will probably watch a movie...or, I will watch 17 Again while DH plays WoW.
