How long is it taking your makeup trial?

The hair and makeup trial I had recently was about 3 1/2 hours. Are yours that long? It just seems like an awful long time to me. My MUA is relatively new to weddings, so I don't know if it's because of that or if it's because I have a complicated hairstyle (pincurls).

    mine took about 30 minutes and my hair is super long. i allowed like 2 hours but she was amazing and quick. i think 3 1/2 hours is too long.

    I just had my trial hair run last night, it only took 1 hour, my hair is medium length but very thick. I think 3 1/2 hours is really long. I have 2 hours book on the wedding day just in case it takes longer than an hour.
