Aww, thanks guys! I was a little worried it was too overwhelming for my frame, but I fell in love with it instantly! My wedding is next winter. I haven't decided on the veil yet. The veil I have on is just the one that was made for the dress. I am going to try on some different ones when my dress comes in. Any suggestions? What about jewelry?
For jewelry, perhaps something super simple since you have cap sleeves that go back into a slight halter neckline. I would suggest a strand of pearls if you like pearls.
For jewelry I think vintage or deco inspired pieces. As much as I adore pearls I don't think they'd do much to flatter this gown. I think killer earrings and wider/multiple bracelets would be fab!

Pearls would definitely be too heavy. I would keep it with a pair of deco inspired earrings and that's it. I wouldn't do a veil because it completely hides the back of the dress. Unless you wear a birdcage?
Thanks for the suggestions! I am considering not doing a veil at all and maybe something sparkly in my hair. Speaking of hair, does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do with mine? It is fairly long, and I've been growing it out for a while, so it should be pretty long for the wedding next year.
Ooh pretty! I love the back, so I agree that a small veil or no veil at all would be great. And also would wear a pair of earrings and maybe a bracelet, but no necklace.
Her designs are awesome! Check your local department stores also. Macy's carried a designer - Eliot Danori (Nadri Jewlery) - who puts out some great pieces as well!

I was thinking the same thing. My hair is pretty wavy, I usually just straighten it in the morning. My mom was so upset I didn't "style" my hair the day I bought my dress. I wore it in a ponytail, and I think the only ponytail holder I could find was neon green! I don't know what she was expecting me to do. Ha! I wasn't even planning on buying my dress so early, but I loved it!
You know, your dress reminds me of one that was my very close second runner up. I didn't buy it because it was so heavy. I mean, REALLY heavy. Your's doesn't have as much beading on it, so I imagine it isn't as crazy heavy as that sucker was. :)http://tinyurl.com/lczox8
That Jasmine dress is gorgeous. I went to 3 different bridal salons, and I don't think any of them carried Jasmine. The dress is pretty heavy. I have more pictures of the train, and it is a semi-catherdral length train. It's not too bad though, I can suck it up for a day. I also wasn't wearing a slip, and apparently I need one.
That is gorgeous! Very 1940's feel (which I'm personally a fan of, and am jealous that you can pull off that shape.) A pp said something about no veil...I would almost agree. This type of dress would look great with a cage veil, a fascinator, or even a snood, if you have the hair for it.
Amoro, I just looked at your bio and loved the dress you chose. So pretty! And you do look better than the model! Agreed, Amoro got some nice back. Much more flaterring then the stick model.Linz, the gown is gorg. Maybe you could do two veils? A more formal long on for the ceremony and a shorter (birdcage) or no veil for the reception? I am really the biggest fan of lace backs.
