Knottie Help Needed - B-Party Ideas

I posted this on the DC board but I also wanted to get opinions from the Baltimore Board too!!So long story short my MoH has not planned anything for my B-Party yet and it's a week from Saturday. She has been busy between work and school but all the bridesmaids (5) and myself thought the planning was under control. We have all expressed interest in helping her but she refused and said she would do it herself. There are some strong personalities in my bridal party and she didn't want anyone to "take it over" (another long story). So now we are down to the wire and there is nothing yet. What did you for you B-party in the area? Originally I wanted it in DC but as I visit Baltimore more for random wedding things it looks so much fun!!I'm hoping there will be at least 8-10 of us and we are a pretty laid back group, up for anything. Fells Point and Canton are fun areas. TIA!

My husband and I had a combined bachelor/ette party.  We went with a small group of people to Ruth Chris Steak House downtown.  (They had a price fix menu for $30.) After dinner we went upstairs to the Havannah Club, which is a Cigar Bar and dance club.  A bigger group of people met us at the club.  We actually took over about 1/2 of the bar area.  The guys LOVED that they could smoke cigars.

I went to Strike Bethesda with some girls, and it wasn't too expensive split among 5 girls. You can also do a premium open bar, which I think was like $28 for 2 hours.

We are going out in Balt for mine but the girls are keeping it a secret. The only thing I know is that we are staying at a hotel... it's Labor Day weekend... and b-pics are involved. I think Red Star is a nice restaurant... or maybe Pazo. Canton and Fed Hill are always fun. So is Howl at the Moon in Power Plant.

I went to Power Plant for mine - we started at Mex for dinner and got a fabulous deal on margarita's.  It was a group of eight of us, we each got 3-5 margarita's out of this GIANT pitcher that only cost us $35 total (you do the math!)  The prize for finishing the monstrosity was free shots all around, and I got two shots for being the bride.  We got great deals on drinks and cover charges from Howl at the Moon and Angels Rock as well.  Have fun!

My MOH is planning Power Plant as well! So excited!  I've heard that you and your bridal party get some great deals on cover charges and drinks and stuff.

I have lived in DC area and now live in Fells Pt.  For my sister's bparty in DC we went to Adams Morgan to a bar that had Kareoke in basement bar, pool tables & bar on another level and dance floor on yet another floor.  Fun but if you live there and want something different, Bmore is a great time! I am helping to plan a B party in bmore early Oct and we are doing Fells Pt, Fed Hill or Canton bars during day, Pazo for dinner and Power Plant for night.  Fells Pt, Canton, Fed Hill are a good start but for a bparty, Power Plant offers a lot of fun!
