Re: pet peeves?

• Ha!! Anna, I love it.

• Lpstl - It does! I always wave and if someone lets me pull out in front of them, I stick my hand up so they can see it through the back window. Pisses me off when people don't so the same. I usually end up mumbling "You're welcome, assshole." Sascha - Customers asking if Carrie shops there is my favorite. Really!?

• Oh yeah...I don't like to wear makeup on the plane because I feel like it looks caked in by the time I arrive. But I always arrive looking horrible though, so I should. People who see that I am the only salesperson in the store, helping three other people, and glare at me and accuse me of ignoring them. Ignore=not doing anything, not acknowedging you. Busy=frantically running around a store full of people by myself trying to do 50 different things Wait your turn.

• East - I dread going to the mall in my hometown. I always see at least 2 people I know and then it's awkward - do I wave/smile as I pass or do I stop to make small talk with them? Living in TN (1000 miles from home) was great, but now I'm back and seeing people from HS left and right.

• Ggmae...on a daily basis. I don't mind people being excited to see shoes from the movie or taking pictures. I just hate the dumb questions, or when they sart to tell me the episode that a shoe was in and tell me the ENTIRE story even after I keep saying, yeah, I know, I saw it too.

• Oh here is a good one..... People who complain about how hard being a housewife is, then add up the pay for their daily duties and what they should make for doing it. "A housewife is the hardest job out there" Sooooooo.....I did every single thing YOU did, but I did it while going to college, or working full time, without a husband. So do I get my normal pay plus this supposed pay for being a mom and doing the things you are supposed to be doing? If you can afford to stay home and take care of your children, you should consider yourself lucky. And of course you work hard, but you do not work as hard as the mom wh has to spend 40 hours a week at a job too, and care for your childand squeeze in quality time, and keep your house clean.

• I had a woman who threw a holy *** fit because her wine cost more than her husbands beer, and he got twice as much as she did.How do you even handle someone like that? Obviously they don't spend most of their time on this planet.Along the same lines, people who are rude to those who work in the service industry and talk down to them. My aunt does this all the time, we were all at a bar a while ago and she ordered an orange stoli and cranberry. Evidently her drink was not made with stoli, but with another orange flavored vodka. She threw a shiit fit, berated the server, and embarassed all of us. When she left we apologized profusely to our server and left him a huge tip.

• People who dash through supermarkets with their shopping carts like the world is ending. Slow down and quit running into me!
image
• Sorry gg.  I'm a speed shopper.
• No problem with speed shopping, but I don't appreciate being rear ended by shopping carts. Also along these lines, it annoys me when parents allow their kids to control the cart and they continuously run into people with it.

• pet peeve(literally): people who send me pics of shelter kittens with a note saying "Cory doesn't have to know.  He won't hate you if you just get one"FI won't hate me but it's a mutual decision.
• Aww, I want it.
image
• I know.  I'm only allowed to get 1 more and I need to make sure it's the perfect one since there will be no more living additions to the house until children and that's a few years away.
• Are you planning to get a boy or girl kitty? Or are you just going to go based on personality?

• Cruella wasn't a bad dog mom, she was just a hoarder. I will hoard chihuahuas just like her.

• I already have 2 girls, so I'll stick with a female.  I also want a cat that seems to be a genetically smaller breed/mix.  My orange cat charley is such a nervous, scaredy cat that I wouldn't want a cat that will get drastically bigger than her and dominate.
• My AWing cat who always managed to steal the best part of the couch: She pulls that "But I'm cute, and I love you" move to keep from getting kicked off, and it works. We're suckers.

• That makes sense then. It seems like you are definitely doing your research! Having 3 kitties is so fun. Ours are troublemakers and when we hear a crash, we look around to see who is near us and figure out who it by process of elimination.

• Uh...somebodies cat looks like she has bun in the oven.

• My evil cat Lucy, sits in the kitchen when I cook andd stares at me with a "slip me a treat, i won't tell dad" look on her face. It sometimes works. The darn cat loves soups
• Lpstl - Is this recent? I see her fur has grown back!
image
• Shhh, she's sensitive about her weight. She was overweight when we got her from the rescue organization, and the anti UTI food the vet has her on is high in calories. It's a catch 22, but we hope when we get into the new house all the stairs will get some of the weight off.

• Anna - Our cats are so spoiled. They get a lot of treats, especially since my parents can resist giving them treats when we go over there. Henry is getting huge and we asked the vet about his weight gain, but because they are only 8 months the vet said that he is growing at a healthy pace. I dunno though - he's really big and squishy in comparison to the other 2.

• *can't resist

• Mae, I took it tonight, a lot of her fur has griwn back but she isn't shedding. It's awesome.

• My Lucy is so active that I don't feel bad about slipping the odd dish of soup, bite of turkey bacon, egg white or her favorite food cheese (she loves gruyere
• Lpstl - Well, that's good! Is she a seat stealer too? Our cats are known for that. We stand up and walk away for a minute, come back and they've stolen our warm seat!
image
• Yes! She's like a little ninja when it comes to vacant warm spots. She's also obsessed with following me into the bathroom. That's a little annoying, she'll sit outside the door and meow until I let her in.

• Anna - Henry is very unactive. The other two are crazy and play all the time. Henry will sit in place and wait for you to come to him and play. We are trying to think of ways to get him more active, but since we don't have stairs and our apartment is on the small side, he doesn't run much.

• lpstl-as a recent UTI survivor, I deeply apologize over any comments abot your cats weight that she would deem offensive or hurtful. Please don't let her read my post. And dot tell her either. :)
