I thought the same thing when I went. The last time I went, there were 3 very strong contenders.I liked them all but I really loved one, my best friend loved one and my mom loved one...I thought I'd be happy with any of them. I put all three of them on three times that day. I realized though that every time I put my favorite on, I loved it even more so I knew it was the one.

ter I went to 2 more stores and didn't want to try anything else on and then when I put one of the two I liked back on, I didn't want to take it off.

My mom and I cried, that was when we knew it was THE dress

I put it on and I was at peace. The price tag was too high. So for months I looked for cheaper options and even bought 2 cheap dresses and I wasn't satisfied. So I bit the bullet and bought THE ONE and I am beyond pleased.

Well I had that feeling with one dress I tried on... it was going to be the dress, but there was a picture of this dress that I had been dying to try on, but couldn't find anywhere. When I finally found it and put it on, it wasn't like that omigod moment, it was more like "yep this is exactly what I want"... it was more realistic for the feel I was going for, and it would work better for me, and it was more unique. But it wasn't like that moment I had with the first dress... even though I love the one I bought so much more. The dress I bought, was lace, which I never thought I would've wanted, it has more of the vintage look that ties into my theme, and it is much lighter which works for me since our reception is a backyard wedding.

I tried on a lot of doozies.  Dresses that I knew right away were NOT the one.  They were very pretty, they just weren't what I was looking for.  At the 3rd place we went, I finally got a consultant that listened to me and I got to try on the styles I liked.  The third dress I tried on there was "it".  It wasn't this huge ahhhh moment with tears but I felt very happy in that dress, that's the best way I can describe it.  I could very easily see myself getting married in that dress (the others not so much).  And I was really sad when I had to take it off.

I had it narrowed down to 3 and ended up combining my favorite parts of 2 of the dresses to get my dress. It took me a long time and a lot of dresses to get to those 3, but at the end I knew it was the dress for me.P.S.  Show us pictures of the 2 dresses!

k, i just scoped out your blog and see that you have a gorgeous pronovias dress. i tried that one on, but i am too curvy to support that dress. it is absolutely gorgeous though!!! one of the ones i am deciding btwn is another pronovias. it is the one i keep coming back to and am in love with a picture my mom took of me in it.

I was deciding between two different dresses--one taffeta and one lace.  I looked at pictures of me in them a bunch, which really helped to see what they had actually looked like on me, and not just how I remembered them.  And then, as I was thinking about them, I knew if I bought the taffeta dress, I would keep thinking about the lace one, wondering if I should have chosen that one.  With the lace dress, I knew I could get it and not look back.  So I chose the lace one!

Try to copy and paste the pic, sometimes that works instead of pip, don't know why but it does.... I haven't decided yet but I have it narrowed down to 3... there's one i put on that i never want to take off. I also say that you need to try to sit down in them and maybe drink water or something if they will let you, make sure you can eat and breathe in your dress comfortably! One dress I loved but I couldn't sit in it without feeling overwhelmed...

I went to four different stores and found one at each. The fourth place I visited, I wasn't so sure I'd find anything. The dresses weren't fitting and I was getting crabby because I had already visited a bridal store earlier in the day. The ladies at the shop brought back a dress and told me to try it on. I wasn't really interested at all because of the lace. But I put it on, went out, stood on the elevated round thing, and just smiled. I knew that was the one and my mom's voice even cracked. All the ladies in the store saw me light up right when I saw the dress and I love it. It's definitely over my budget, but we're going to make it work!

I LOVE the second one!  It's so unique.  Both are beautiful on you, though.
