Total Dress Disaster

I am desperate for some help regarding my wedding dress. My wedding is in less than 4 weeks. I just picked up my dress from getting altered tonight and I am completely unhappy. The person that did the alterations did all that they could do but I think the dress just wasn't for me (I love the style but not for my body). I really want a new dress but obviously have no time to wait for one to come in. Anyone know of a place to buy them off the rack for a decent price??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    What size are you?  Bridal and Formal has sample dresses, but they seem to be in the 10-12-14 range.  I think Fabulous Bride does as well.  Davids sells off the rack.  You could also try somewhere like the Snooty Fox or Chaz Consignment.  I saw a really pretty one in their window.  Do you know what you're looking for?  Style wise?  This has to be extremely stressful!

    Fabulous Bridal in Covington had a clearance sell this past weekend. I was there friday and they had a ton of dresses in lots of sizes.  You probably should call though, you may need an appointment. (859) 291-9222

    I don't know if they are still open, but try Brogan & Hesketh on the Westside. They were getting rid of their bridal dept and all of their bridal gowns were 50-75% off. Good Luck.

    David's Bridal has tons you can buy off the rack.  I suggest looking there.

    Wendy's Bridal.  Also, I found my second favorite dress at Saks 5th Avenue off the rack.  I also know that J Crew & Dillards sells them. GL!

    Wendy's Bridal in Florence has a ton of dresses to buy off the rack at great prices.  They have a great seamstress there, too.

    The Off-the-rack dresses at Wendy's are on sale. And, yes, the Snooty Fox in Mariemont now has an entire section devoted to wedding dresses.

    Thanks for all of the suggestions! I don't want to jinx myself but I think I found the dress! I went to Madison Avenue Bridal and Ani was soooo helpful! I really wish I would have gone there the first time around! She was patient with me when I tried on 20 some dresses and never mentioned that I was still there 30 mins after the store had closed. I would totally recommend anyone going there. Prices are really reasonable too!

    Try the Trash to Treasure board. There are a ton of dresses for sale.
