Is anyone getting married in Kauai?

Hello Knotties,I am fairly new to the boards since I am now starting to pre-plan my wedding in Kauai next summer. I am pretty lost and am not sure where to start. Any advice of direction would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

    Hi! Congratulations! I'm getting married in about 3 weeks in Kauai.  First off you should check out the Kauai bio -http://community.theknot.com/cs/ks/user/default.aspx?UserName=KauaiBioIt will help you with vendors. How many people are you going to have? And do you know what part of the island you want to get married on?Lisa

    What a great link, thank you!We want to get married on the north shore and think there will be only about 20-30 people tops.

    I love the north shore! I'm getting married at the Hanalei Bay resort, the coordinator there is very nice and helpful. I'm not sure what your budget is, but The St Regis will be reopening Sept. 26th. So there will be another option for you. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with. GL!Lisa

    Aloha,   we are getting married in 14 days on the North Shore.  We are staying at Hanalei Bay Resort and having a lot of wedding week activities there ( bachelorette party, welcome bbq) and getting married there on the beach.  Our reception is at BarAcuda in Hanalei (they are the same people who just bought The Happy Talk Lounge at the resort )  We are doing a Na Pali coast boat trip with all of our guests the day before the wedding.  We are using North Shore Buds and Blooms for our flowers and they have been great.  Rachelle Elliott is our photog.  Sincemours is so close I will let everyone know how things went.  Any other questions feel free to ask!     Welcome! It's so awesome to see more and more Kauai weddings on this board. I'm getting married in about a month in Kauai. But I'm getting married on the South side so all my vendors are also located on the South. There are so many helpful ladies on this board, you will not have a problem planning your wedding.
