Memory Candle

I am getting married in April 2010. I recently saw a picture of a memory candle, and having lost my father, I was interested in this. Does anyone know how to incorporate the memory candle into the wedding? Ceremony, reception? Any info would be very helpful! Thanks!!

    WE are having a few individuals that won't be there b/c of alzheimers and death.  We are having a vase of white flowers with a framed note saying : With us in spirit &  listing the names.  It will be at the reception on the table with the guests' place cards.  We just wanted it to be noticeable...  the florist had suggested having it on the altar as part of our ceremony...  but we thought it would be important to let everyone know that we are thinking of those that couldn't be there with us.  Good luck.

    We had a memory candle at the ceremony for my brother.  It was on a table in front of the unity candle, and my mother lit it when she lit the unity candle.
