Cheap and Edible Favor

Okay, better late than never... now we're thinking about doing an inexpensive, edible favor for our guests...ideally for $1 or less per person.  Our colors are purple & silver, and the only idea I have thus far is M & M's...  Any other ideas?!TIA!!

It may be a bit of work, but we're doing chocolate covered Oreos. Costs? A few packs of oreos (buy 'em on sale or in bulk to save!), some baking chocolate and time. My intern is making them for us (bless her heart). We tested them out a few weeks ago to see how long they live outside the freezer and how far in advance they can be made. They were EXCELLENT.

Since Shelby took my suggestion, I'd say brownies. That was my original plan til I made the mistake of showing FI a candy buffet pic.

SIL's colors were purple & silver and she found purple & silver hershey kisses and put them in a little box for everyone along with a candle

The last wedding I went to, the bride made cookies and each guest got 3 differnet homemade cookies in a bag... they were delicious and very personal.

I think the cookies sound cute too! Or brownies- simple and yummy! They had really pretty sugar at the Williams and Sonoma store that came in purple and silver- you could put that on the cookies.

Just be careful. Our venue won't let you bring in any outside food... even as a favor. Hate to do all that work and not be allowed to use them.
