My day - with 3 left to go! (looong!)

Spa Day #1: Run, do not walk, to Gene Juarez and get the algea wrap with the vichey shower. I was in HEAVEN for what must have been about 2 hours. starts with a good scrub/exfoliating. Then the algea mask. Facial massage while the algea is on you...Then...then...THE shower. You're laying on the table with a washcloth over the modest parts of you. 14 shower heads about 3 feet above you showering you with warm water - it's like thousands of the world's best massage therapists all massaging you at once. I almost cried it felt so good. And I never cry. Well...not never. Stay tuned... Then a oil massage. I nice long relaxing massage. It was heaven. I was on cloud nine. the oilds she used smelled amazing and Amber at the down town Gene Juarez was the perfect combination of firm and gentle. I'm usually pretty knotted up and get grumpy when the massage therapist spends too long in one spot trying to work a specific knot out. I'd rather you just move on - it starts to hurt! Then I was supposed to get eyelash extensions but there was a miscommunication somewhere. They signed me up for the gluey ones which I didn't want - they're only good for a day and I've got 3 days to go! So I was really disapointed. But oh well. Then I went to check out and there was a problem with the coupon I had - long story short it was the straw that broke the camels back and I had to go running into the bathroom I was sobbing. Guess I'm a little more stressed than I thought!! I never cry! When I came back out - I apologized and assured the girl at the counter that it was an unrelated mini-breakdown and it was fine. She gave me the 15% discount that another employee had promised me and then recommended a great self-tanner. It's soaking in as we speak - I'll report back later. By this time I've got to hustle to get home and get dressed for the rehearsal. We meet everyone out at the venue - rehearse, change up a few minor details, iron out some of the specifics and we're good to go! Dinner in Snohomish was nice - I love hanging out with my friends and having them all in one place was awesome. Tomorrow: more spa (waxing - not as fun) and then tomorrow night bachelorette party! Most wedding stuff is done - I still have glue on my hands from finishing the programs. Just a few paper items left to print out and I'm done for good. *DEEP SIGH* I'm ready!! 3 more sleeps...then ohmygodimgettingmarried!!!

Love how you started that out: "Spa Day #1: Run, do not walk, to Gene Juarez..." :)  Glad it was enjoyable and they could honor the discount for you.  I hear you about the massage therapist working too long on a spot.  If you can, wake up early enough to print out the last things you need so you don't have to worry about them and get to enjoy your second spa day fully.
