Shoes

Are you having your bridesmaids wear the same shoes? I can't decide. Also, I was thinking of flip flops or barefoot for the ceremony on the beach & then put on shoes for the indoor reception but this will affect the hem of my dress.... oppinions?

My BM's will wear whatever shoes they have that go with the dress.  Most likely silver but I'm not having them all wear the same ones.  They are already spending a lot of money on the dress, so if they can find cheap shoes or have them, that is great! If you are gonna do flip flops or barefoot, then I would go with a flat or very very short heal for when you put your shoes on.

I'm planning on same color shoes, but not the same ones.and yes the hem would be affected depending on the height of your shoes, I believe most girls that do this go with a shorter heel and have the dress hemmed for the height of shoe, and it just drags a little in the sand. Depending on your dress though this should be fine.

I told my girls they could pick any black dress shoe, but I did say I prefer a dressy strappy sandal.  Their dresses are long, so no one will see the shoes anyway.  I also told them they could wear black flip flops to the reception if they want.  yes, their dresses will be hemmed to their dress shoe heel height, so with flip flops the dress might be long...by then I don't mind as long as they're comfortable and having fun.

If I go with a short dress, I will suggest silver strappy sandals. If I go with a long dress, I will still suggest silver, but not the strappy.Oh hell, I'll just suggest silver strappy either way I think. ;)

I told my girls they could pick out whatever strappy silver sandals they wanted.  And I took a poll before between silver and gold to see what the majority already had.  I feel like they're already spending so much money, I don't want to make them spend more.

Oh good call... I'm having a garden wedding... didn't even think of the grass...well, they can either get heel saves, or be on their toes.  ha ha ha.nah... we'll work something out for sure.
