*Kelly Rose*

So I'm slightly freaking out b/c I just realized my invites to go out next week and I haven't even finalized the wording let alone printed them!!!  *what is going on with me???*  Anyhow, FI and I were looking through bios last night and decided we liked your font the best for "Kelly Rose".  Do you remember what font you used??TIA!

**butting in***No clue on the font but I wanted to say that unless you have mostly OOT guests, you could probably wait at least 3 more weeks to send out invites. I've heard anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks out from the wedding being the suggested time frame. I think 8 weeks is PLENTY. My wedding is a week before yours, I think, and our invites aren't going out until the week of September 13. JMHO & GL.

~Butting In~ I disagree with the above post. Jessi, you are right about your timing. 8 weeks is standard, regardless of if you have OOT or in town guests. In fact, if you have many OOT guests, you should give more than 8 weeks. If you send them out at 2 months, and give your guests time to respond, that will leave you at most 3-4 weeks out. This is a good amount of time to call people that don't respond before your final guest count is due WITHOUT causing you too much stress. PS - I love KR's invitations. They were beautiful.

Hey Jessi!  I think 8 weeks out is perfect timing! The font I used for our names is Brock Script - a free download.  You can find it here:  http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=601&page=3  (The last font on page 3 of "Script" if the link doesn't work.)If you try to e-mail it to someone though it will just come up with block lettering, so PDF the document first.  Same with printing it at Office Depot or wherever.  HTH and GL!Thanks, Shannon.   They were a lot of work, but a friend framed one for us and I'm happy every time I look at it.  :)

Just to clarify my earlier point: I didn't say 8 weeks was too much time...just that OPs not at 8 weeks. Her wedding's a week after mine (according to the tickers, anyway) and today is 10 weeks from my wedding...two - three more weeks from now will be 8 for her. just sayin'... :)
