Nebb, I go back and forth on it. Its kind of fun to never have to go to school/work on the day of, and I do love the holiday. But I have had more people do the "Here's your Christmas card....oh wait can I have that back" as they add a "PS, Happy Birthday" to it. Sometimes that does sting a touch. How do you like it?

I hated it when I was a kid, but now I love it. I absolutely love christmas, favourite time of year, so I just make it a big exciting day. I AM a bit bitter though that ive only gotten birthday cake on my actual birthday ONCE in my life though.

I guess it's up for debate about whether or not my 98 year old woman skills qualify me as "awesome" - but I enjoy it. I'm also wicked good at crossword puzzles. Which again, prepares me fully to be 98 years old.

Correction, Concordia, crocs, and one of his credit cards to fix it. I don't care what you are wearing. I judge myself in the mirror, not who I am with. It also depends on the day, if you were planning something at the end of the week and at night, you can't wear that, it doesn't fly at a lot of places.

Nebb, fish, Beatles Rock Band looks amazing. I have pre-ordered too. They have also started showing "videos" of Beatles songs on VH1 in the morning with the game's characters singing "Day Tripper," etc. The most awesome thing was seeing Paul McCartney in concert this month, and he had the game playing behind him while performing the song at the same time! Wish I could remember which song it was. But that was one item I could cross off my bucket list.

Salty, you can do it! I was completely inept for the first several weeks of trying and trying and trying. But eventually, you just kind of get it. Mind if I ask how you were taught to hold your needle? My mom tried to get me to hold it from top down (like a steak knife), but I felt more comfortable holding it more like a spoon. Both ways are correct, but some people have a hard time with one more than the other.

fische-I started with South Beach for 3-4 months and lost about 25lbs. Then I started counting calories on thedailyplate.com and bought a treadmill. I started off walking 30 minutes a day (watching the taped shows DH hates) and have worked up to running 3-6 miles a day about 5-6 times a week. I also do a little strength training here and there, but mostly it is running.
