Bec - Can you come help retile our kitchen floor and install a new countertop? FI and I are really hesitant to attempt it ourselves, but don't have the money to hire someone in the near future.

Thanks Julez! My no. 1 parenting tip? Don't treat them like babies or like adults. Treat them like children. Children need to be heard and considered, but they also need to know your word is final. And back it up! When I say third warning = spanking, I mean it. And I've only had to spank twice for each kid before they learned that. S., I've never installed a countertop before, but I'll be happy to try it out with you! And retiling the floor will be a snap!

Bec - Thnx!! FI's sister is really handy around the house and keeps telling us tiling, especially a floor, is easy... I can organize, decorate, and assemble, but when it comes to ripping stuff apart and construction, I don't trust myself!

Im late, but I am awesome because I recieved my teaching credential and masters degree (seperate programs) all under 2 years. Now, I am never gonig back to school again...who needs a PH.D anyway (although I would secretly love to get it, I am burned out and so far into financial aid debt).
