Bridal Portraits

Hi Ladies!Anyone have suggestions on where to have bridal portraits done? Somewhere that has a room to change in and you don't have to worry about your dress getting dirty?Thank you!Future Mrs. Valencia

The Koehler Cultural Center on SAC campus is a beautiful old mansion - I believe there's a room to change in upstairs.  I think the Woodward House might work too - it is owned by the Woman's Club of San Antonio.

I'm doing my portraits at the McNay, but there isn't a really good place to change there so I don't know if that helps you.  It is a beautiful place though and they only change $10 if you're not using the venue for your wedding. Some other knotties have done their pics on the Riverwalk, hotels (both in San Antonio and the hill country) etc...

I did mine at Ye Kendall Inn in Boerne and I really loved them.  That being said, if you can afford to have it cleaned, you should try to get over the fear of getting it dirty/wrinkled.  It will make you look more relaxed in your pics.  I "got over it" and ended up being able to spot clean my dress myself anyway.

By the way, I meant "charge" not "change." :)
