Alterations for a fit-n-flare

I recently picked up my dress from alterations and everything looks and feels wonderful. The only problem I have is that when I walk, the dress starts moving up a little on my hips. I feel like when I get to the alter I'll be shimmying it down...and I don't want to do that. Did anyone else have that problem? And if you did, what did you do to prevent this from happening? Thanks in advance!

    Can you add weights to the inside hem of your dress?

    That's a good idea but I don't know. Would that pull the top down too much too? The dress is strapless.

    I don't think it would provided the dress fits properly. I'd just add small weights -nothing too heavy. Probably best to talk to a seamstress though.

    I got a fit-n-flare, and the salon I ordered it from told me that would happen if I ordered it too small, and had me order it a size larger then "needed." Mine hasn't come in yet, so I haven't tested that theory. Maybe they can let it out a touch?
