Groomsman gifts?

I need ideas!  FI has not put much thought into this!  I was thinking it woud be fun for all of them to go see a good comedian or something, but two of the three are moving away after the wedding, so it's just not a good time.

What did you all give?

    We're boring- cufflinks and gift cards probably. They're all accountants though so the cufflinks are a realistic gift.

    My FI is paying for all their tux rentals and getting a flask for each engraved with initials.  He has 7 of them, so this is quite a lot of money for him to spend ($120 each).

    FI is paying for the tux rental. they guys don't really need anything, so we figured we would just do the thing that they would appreciate the most- not spending money on a tux

    MH got them Oakley sunglasses (the eco-friendly Gascan model).

    You could do gift cards, or sports/concert tickets.

    There's a FAQ sticky post on the Bridal Party board with some ideas. Basically, shop for each of them like it's their birthday. They don't all "need" to get the same thing.

    We gave most of them cufflinks, but we gave a tie to the one who already has more cufflinks than a boy could ever need.  We figured those were things that boys can have more than one of without it being a waste.  

    Groomsmen gifts are really tough, because a lot of guys aren't really into trinkets, and from other weddings and events they may have already gotten some of the common gift ideas that you don't really need more than one of.  But on the other hand, finding individual gifts for each can be a headache because shopping for guys is usually tough.

    Fi got each one sports memorabilia specific to their team from steiner sports. he got signed baseballs for two of his friends and another two he got something to do with the giants. only spent about $90 on each of them

    My FI is getting this Omaha steak packages.. Its not something they will have forever, but what guy doesn't love steak!!

    We are doing french cuff shirts with their initials embroidered on them.  It's something they wouldn't get themselves, they won't have to rent a shirt or buy a shirt for the wedding and it's something they will use again.

    We might do shirts and ties. For my friend's wedding, her husband had the guys buy suits instead of renting tux's. She said Men's Warehouse or Jos A Bank runs specials buy one get one free, so we are going to ask the groomsmen if they would rather rent the tux or buy a suit. I think the difference is an extra $30 or $40 and they can keep their own suit. She also said they gave the shirt for free if you buy the suit. I am going to get more info on this...

    My FI has his completed already lol He got personalized mugs, personalized flasks, A Cigar holder, ash tray, cutter, and two cigars.  He's probably going to put in a 6 pack of different beers too.  For some odd reason he was really motivated to get everything, he also didn't want to shell out $400 right before the wedding.
