Mandalay Bay Hospitality Suite

Hi all...and thanks in advance for helping with my post. FI and I want to rent the Hospitality Suite due to the amount of guests we are having. We were originally going with the Vista suite but our numbers grew from 30 to 50 and there may be more. We were going to have Masterpiece Cuisine do the catering and would still like them to but from what I understand it won't be possible in the Hospitality Suite. Is this correct?

    I believe that when I inquired about the hospitality suite you needed to use the catering group at MB for that suite.  But i'm not 100% so hopefully someone will be able to chime in shortly with an exact answer.

    Yeah the hospitality suite has no sleeping quarters which means your only reason to rent it is to have a party, and since Mandalay knows that, they can enforce you use their catering.

    I'd recommend the Orleans' Stardust suite instead if you're going to get forced into using someone's catering either way; it's larger, nicer and comes with a huge sleeping suite too.  Minimum spend is $3500 I believe, but you get a lot more there than you'd get for $3500 at Mandalay.

    Thank you everyone...I spoke with both Jay at Orleans and Kimberly with Mandalay Bay and I think we will get more bang for our buck at Orleans. Now getting the FI convinced to use it. I showed him pics and he said the 70's is asking for their furniture back, smartie!

    You should see the shag carpet the Golden Nugget has in the spa suite if you want 70's lol.
