Invitations

 Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows of someone in the area who has a printing press that does invitations? We made our own pocket folds and want to assemble our invites ourselves, but I want the invites and inserts to be printed using a printing press. If not, does anyone have any good suggestions for printers that could do the job?

Thanks in advance! :o)

I have no advice on a printing press but we bought an Epson artisan 800 and used it for our invitations, wedding programs and all other paper products for the wedding.  It is also a photo printer and works well for me b/c I like to scrapbook.  HTH!

What exactly do you mean by printing press?  Do you mean a letterpress printer?  Offset printing?  Or just a professional print shop so you don't have to print at home?

I also do not know about a letterpress, but Office Depot, Staples, and Kinkos will print out invitations. And they were pretty well priced. We bought a Canon all in one printer for all our invites and it works great.

All of the above if you know anyone. A printing/letterpress would be my first choice.

There's a place called The Toast, out of Oakland or Shadyside, I believe, that does letterpress.  I'm not sure if she does letterpress, but Barbara at More Than Words in Mt. Lebanon was VERY helpful when the subcontractor my first printer hired messed up all my envelopes.  She seems to do very quality work, even if she is on the pricier side.
