Hi everyone!  My FI and I are trying to figure out where we want to go on our honeymoon.  We are definitely on a budget (less than $2000 would be ideal).  FI wants to go someplace tropical, I'd rather find a little B&B somewhere in the mountains.  We are getting married in May, and honeymooning in June.  We will be traveling to Puerta Vallarta in June for a family member's graduation, and leaving for our honeymoon from there.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Maybe a tropical B&B?  :)

    Have you considered Secrets Silversands? It’s a fantastic resort located in the Riviera Maya Mexico. It’s an adults-only; all-inclusive that is perfect for honeymoons. The resort has a fresh modern design and is always super clean. While I’ll admit the beach isn’t the best, it is definitely swimmable and is a nice spot to lie out and catch some sun. The pool is also excellent and they have a very attentive wait staff to make sure you are never without a drink or a snack. I absolutely love that no reservations are required at Secrets. They have such a wide variety of food to choose from, including Mexican, Japanese, Italian and more. I hope you enjoy your honeymoon!
