Can we use the term "black love" even though ours isn't entirely black? Or is it ok to use it b/c our guys obviously have some black ancestry somewhere along the line with the way they act?

    Just buttin all in y'all convo, I hope I did not offend when I said that. I apologize if I did. but Cat you know daggone well P is black. He just light, light skinneded. Honestly I thought he was black for a long time. For real. Seriously, I know we have some people on the board who are engaged to men who are not black but honey, they are with us and we incorporate them into the term "black love". and it is a beautiful thing. I really didn't say that comment to offend anyone and if I did, you know I didn't mean it. *smooches*

    MrsClinton puhh leezze! We don't get down like that girl! I'm not offended in the least so breath easy! lol! The thought just hit me. I always use that term myself. It's actually me just being funny cuz Blue and I talk about how them 'clear' men be acting! Girl, it's like they be trynna teach us how to be black!

But to answer your question, heck yeah we can. you know damn well that the only reason P and Dave are "white" is cuz their families have been passing for generations. there's more than a few drops of negro in them. we can also make up our own term since they also have Caucasoid tendencies - at least dave does. y u ask?

    I know betta wit y'all I was just saying because I often do forget that there are some women on this board with "clear" men lol. I don't even see color with you ladies. Your men are treating you like gold. They love and respect you and they treat you like the queen you are so to me, that's black love. I just didn't want to offend anyone when I said it. That's all. Now back to our regularly scheduled program already in progress...... *Sorry Blue for butting in lol*

    WAIT...WAIT!!! LMAO!!! WTH is Caucasoid? Girl u got me with tears in my eyes! I ask just being funny; although, now that i think about it, a buddy of mine told me she thought P was bi-racial. She didn't know he was was black till i said something about black love and my sister called me out!

    Cat for real, I thought P was black. I really did. The pic you put up after you two was married and he had on that blue bandana, I thought for sho' he was black til you said something different. And Blue you are a sweetie, I know you would not literally be upset. I just wanted to be sure I didn't say the wrong thing. Ok I feel better now......

    and OMG, for the longest I thought P was bi-racial (ok mixed as we say in Texas...LOL!) too until you said something alittle before y'all got married...cuz that pic of him in that do-rag tied up like Tu-Pac did it for me!!!...classic!!!

    Lmao, yah girl, Caucasoid tendencies. The parts in him that would be fully developed in 10 or so years if he’d married a white girl. You know… Breakfast Club (the 80s movie), loud music just cause it’s loud, the police… I can see why she’d think he’s biracial. Have you seen naacp’s current president – ben jealous? P kinda favors him. Like MrClinton said she just thought he was light, light, light. I saw Ben J. up close and personal and like P you at first think ‘oh he’s white’ then you look again and you’re like ‘hmm… there’s something else going on’.

    Girls, he'd be grinning like a Chessher Cat if I told him this. No one knows that fool is white unless something is said! My family thought he was one a dem light skins when they first met him. I wish y'all could hear him talk when he's just out with the fam. Toooo funny. I'mma have to put my baby's doo rag shot back up! LOL! He's actually Irish, Caucasion, and Italian...and AA!
