YesNoMy parents have been together for 31 years this December. I have no idea how long FI's parents were together, but his dad has been remarried for at least 11 years now, and I love his stepmom
Are your parents still together? Yes. Are your DH's/Fi's parents still together? Yes. How long were they (or have they been) together? Mine 24 years, Jay's 35 years.
My parents are divoreced- they were together 13 yearsFI's parents are still together, I think they just hit 29 years? or 28. They're 45... i think 28? who knows. haha.
Mine are still together, have been for 27 years. BFs divorced when he was in junior high, I have no idea how long they had been married. His mom has been remarried for 7 or 8 I think, and I'm pretty sure his dad's second marriage didn't make it to a year.
My parents are still together. Tim's parents are still together but they sleep in seperate rooms. FIL says it's because MIL snores, but he wakes up 5 times a night (no joke) because of back pain, so it's not like he gets much sleep anyway.
yes yes mine - 26 years, his - 27 years. Obviously, I plan on being with DH long than 27 years - but it's kind of astonishing to look ahead and think about all that can/will happen during that amount of years together.
My parents were divorced before my dad passed away. They had been married for 15 years I think.DH does not know a single couple who has ever been divorced. Literally. (Difficult to comprehend when I have an uncle who's been married 5 times and every single member of my family that has been married has also been divorced at least once) His parents have been married for 31 years.
Mine are still together.Buddy's father wasn't interested in a baby and broke up with his pregnant mother (just dating at the time). She's had one or two husbands since. None of them were a father to him, so I guess.. no.My parents have been together 8 months less time than I've been alive. And she doesn't let us sleep in the same bed when we're here! Hypocrite.
On bed rest since Groundhog's Day and every day since has been exactly the same. Blog
My parents have been married for 43 years. They met in college - a mini- LDR, if you will. FI's parents split when he was about 7. His mom passed away 10 years ago. They were very close. His father was pretty much AWOL until 2 years ago. FI doesn't have much to do with him. He's coming to the wedding. FI calls him by his first name. Until 2 years ago, he didn't even know if he was alive or dead.

No. My dad had an affair after they were married for 35 years. Yes. They've been married 33 years now.Oops. I suck at answering the questions in order.
My dad died when I was 8 years old, so no. My mom hasn't so much as gone on a date since then. I wish she would though. They had been together 17 years when he died, would be 35 years next week.Yep. They've been together 35 years.

My parents just celebrated their 25th anniversary. They met in the militray, dated for 3 months, got engaged and married 21 days later. Fi's are divorced, but I don't know when. They had to have been married a decent amount of time to have 4 kids. I just know that Fi was much closer to hislate step-father than his biological dad, and his mom and step-dad were about to celebrate their 10th anniversary before he passed.
My parents have been married 20 years. And they've been together 23 ish years?T's parents are divorced they were together over 16 years before he left her for some woman he worked with.
Love is like infinity: You can't have more or less infinity, and you can't compare two things to see if they're "equally infinite." Infinity just is, and that's the way I think love is, too.

My parents were together for 16 years before divorcing when I was 4 years old.Husbands parents are still togther, no clue how long theyve been married but they dont sleep in the same room and dont like doing anything with eachother so who knows whats going on there.
Both of our sets of parents have been married for 32 years. My parents still kiss and say "I love you" any time one of them leaves the house. They still have so much fun together and crack each other up all the time. I really hope my husband and me are like that after 32 years.
My parents will be married 41 years on Sept 7 (monday). We actually got married on Sept 6 of last year which was the day before their 40th. MIL has been married and divorced twice. FIL (whom I've never met) has been married and divorced 5 times. His third wife didn't even know DH and his brother even existed. When they were going through the divorce she found out from snooping around. I'm farily certain the other wifes do not know FIL has children.
