  Yup, I used to work in the marriage license department. If you live in Ohio and are getting married in Ohio then you need to get your license in the county in which you live. Franklin county! Don't forget to check out the website http://www.franklincountyohio.gov/probate/departments/marriage.cfmto make sure you have everything you need with you.

  Just to add on to this question, I am from out of town and will be getting married in Columbus. We are from Maryland/Virginia, do we have to get marriage license from our home states or from Franklin County (where our wedding will be held). TIA!
