How far ahead did everyone book the Vista Suite at Mandaly Bay? They are not allowing any reservations at this time and I am nervous that they will fill up fast once they do allow reservations. Thanks!
I booked mine about a month ago! and yep...I was worried too! But ask your cordinator to maybe keep an eye out for you? I did not ask her to but when I mentioned using the Suite she offered to book it for me...So I went thru her! When is your date??....I was able to book it about 10 months in advance (but did not until about 8)...

when we had it booked...we booked it in january or february for our october wedding. so 9 to 10 months in advance.also, remember that the suite does fill up and then open up (although i wouldn't delay because of that). So if you find that it is booked, keep trying. for example, i know that for our wedding date, lots of people have moved over to the panorama suite at ph according to a ph reception person because they offered a great special. we were one of them. we just couldn't beat saving $500 even though i loved the hotel.
We booked ours in Oct for our July 31st wedding. Also once you book it keep looking at the price of the suite our suite went down in price 2 times before our wedding. Saved us over $100. If you have any other questions let me know.
I finally just booked the Vista Suite for Sunday because it wasn't available for the Saturday we wanted in March. For those that got the PH Panorama Suite deal - how did you find that?
it's on the Web site...I've been regularly checking the Web sites for deals since we decided to get married in Vegas and knew we wanted an insuite reception.www.planethollywoodresorts.comThey post specials on their regularly so just watch for it...and also, something i noticed the other day...on one special it may say it is booked full (the suite) for the whole month and then it will say it isn't under another special (for example the chi special that has the special rate). Just make sure you check them or even call reservations. i have not seen e-mails terribly often from them in the last year. However, just an fyi, reservations at one of the hotels (mandalay) said they are not supposed to plug specific specials to people who call...they said we should check the web site, subscribe to the mobile text messaging, etc.
oops...it is planethollywoodresort.comhttp://www.planethollywoodresort.com/chi/index.htmDo watch it and watch the board. When we initially booked in Feb., they didn't have the special for our date. And then 3 months from our date, they had the special. We decided to switch hotels to save the money and put it toward catering.
They open up booking either 9 or 10 months out for the whole month, so if you're wanting to book next October, whether it's the 3rd or the 23rd, you'd have to call either January or February 1st. We didn't want to take any chances, so we booked our room for April 23rd on June 1st.
Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.
