Do you ever watch a movie and think that it would be 100x better if they had  picked a different actor/actress for a certain role? I'm watching Chicago, and I really love the movie, but I still think someone else could have been better for the role of Roxie Hart.  I don't know who, and I really like Renee Zellweger in general, she just really irks me in this movie. What about you? Also, what movie should I watch after this? It's raining and I don't have anything to do until 7 tonight. We have at least 250 movies, so just pick one and chances are good that we have it.

    Yes... Actually I did not like Chicago because of Renee.  And I like her, just not in that role.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    I really dislike Renee Zellweger. In everything. She ruined that movie for me.I want to watch Labyrinth, so I vote that. David Bowie in spandex!

    I totally agree with the Roxie Hart thing. Also, the actress who was the lead roll in The Departed was a weird choice for me and Minnie Driver did not have chemisty with Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting. (can you tell DH and I just rewatched Boston flicks?)

    YES. Renee was just all wrong for that role.I was also pretty unsatisfied with Katie Holmes in Batman Begins... much happier with Maggie Gyllenhaal.

    Kind of. Winona Ryder would have been way better in Godfather III than Sofia Coppola, but it wouldn't have made the movie better.

    Of course, we do not have the labrynth :(  But now for some reason I want to watch the neverending story, which I also do not have.  Also, since I don't want to start a whole new post but I"m really excited, I want to brag about my new lap desk that just came in the mail a few minutes ago :) My legs don't have to get all hot anymore! Too bad the laptop is almost as big as the cushiony lap desk thing.  It has a cupholder, but I can't use it at the same time since the computer covers it up.

    ps- I decided to watch Nightmare before Christmas. I probably should have waited until closer to Halloween, but I love this movie :)  And after that if I have time for another it will either be All Dogs go to Heaven or Moulin Rouge.  Odd choices.
