questions for brides

I am an officiant working RI , CT, MA but mostly RI. I write personalized weddings . Sometimes when I state my price $300.00 it is high for them . Other times it is a ridiculously small amout. The difference I am sure due to the cost of one wedding over the other. I am wondering what you consider resonable and how you think it should be priced. Thank you in advance.

    This is 1/3 of what we're paying for our Rabbi - so to me seems like a great bargain!

    Our officiant is a JOP, and is customizing our wedding also. Her price is $150.

    I'm paying $600 for my officiant...customized ceremony and rehearsal. I thought that sounded like a fair price.

    I paid $300 back in 2010 for my JOP.  It was $50 extra for rehearsal at ceremony site.  I'm looking into another one for my friends wedding.  They were in Pawtucket, RI.  I found them from my wedding DJ dj mashane  but they wanted $500.  I'll have been friend contact you if you do newport weddings.  Some people don't want to travel to newport...

    We are paying 600, but our officiant is traveling from NY for us and will be here for the rehearsal and wedding day. We needed an officiant that also spoke Russian :-)

    That's weird. When my fiance and I met with you you said that by law you couldn't charge anything more than $150. 

    You were very much on the low end of our spectrum. The other two officiants we met with were charging around $300.

    I should note here that price did not affect our decision. We just found someone that was more "our style."
